Products you need. Prices you can afford. Science that will blow your mind.
What kind of information do we collect?
We only collect information that you volunteer. When you register for a Widgetdyne
event or request information from us, we may ask you to fill out a form soliciting
information about you, your company, or your particular needs regarding Widgets.
We might ask for contact information, such as your name, telephone number,
address, and e-mail address. And we might ask you to tell us what your job
function is or what Widget solutions your company uses or plans to use. In
most cases, the information is optional and not required, and you can register
for the event or receive the information even if you don't fill out the form.
What do we do with the information
we collect?
We want your business, but we also respect your deployment timelines and the
fact that you may be doing preliminary research on a large project - so we
do not necessarily want our sales staff to contact you like a pack of slavering
dogs on the hunt for a sale. That happens far too often in today's market.
Instead, we trust in your innate intelligence, and your own assessment of
our products to dictate whether you wish to contact us (or our dealers). But
when you do contact us , we would like to know your needs and business requirements
so we can offer you solutions that help your business succeed.
Unless you specifically request otherwise, we will never use your contact
information to send you unsolicited e-mail: there is too much spam in the
world already. However, should you desire, we can sendinformation that we
hope will help you make sound purchasing decisions-white papers discussing
industry trends; customer newsletters; invitations to events such as seminars,
Webcasts, and user conferences; and product announcements and upgrades.
Do we sell or otherwise share the information we
collect?
Any information you provide to us is confidential. We never sell it. We never
divulge it to anyone. You can equate our customer information database with
a quantum singularity: once information transits the event horizon into our
systems, it is no longer accessible to the remainder of the Universe. It has
been “black holed”.
Do we use cookies?
When you visit our Web site, our Web server places a "cookie" on
your hard disk-a small piece of information that tells our Web server, if
you revisit our site, whether you've visited before. This is simply a convenience
to prevent you from needing to re-enter any information you might have given
us once before. However, if you choose to disable cookies in your web browser,
our site will still work just fine for you. This world is replete with sinister
information-tracking mechanisms, but we don’t use them. We respect you
as an individual, with a right to privacy – and we feel pretty strongly
about this, too.
And the "other" cookies? Yes, we do - in fact, we consume some number of them daily. A few years ago, we bought a recipe on eBay, allegedly the same one used for a particular well-known brand. While we won't swear it is an exact replica (in theory, perhaps, we could use a mass spectrometer to do an empirical analysis), it really isn't worth the time. Chef Tesi knows what he's about, and we like his version just fine, thanks.
